Program Cancellations

Here's how to cancel your Defeat Diabetes Program membership: 

WEBSITE 

If you registered for the program via our website and your subscription is managed by Defeat Diabetes: 

You may cancel your subscription to the Defeat Diabetes Program at any time via the website.

• On your profile settings, click "My Account". 
  
  
   
• On the "Membership" section section, click "View Membership". 
  
  
• Another window tab will pop-up and you'll be redirected to login using the same credentials. 
  
  
   
• Once logged in to your membership account, click on the "My membership" tab. Scroll below until you see two buttons that says "Cancel Membership" and "Cancel Membership Immediately". 
  
  
  
  Cancel Membership - with this option, you would still have access to the program until your subscription period ends.
  Cancel Membership Immediately -  you will lose access to the program immediately.  
• Done. Your status will change to "Cancelled".

How to cancel your subscription on your iPhone or iPad

1. Open the settings tab

2. Tap your name

3. Tap subscriptions (refer to the image below)

4. Tap the subscription that you want to manage.

5. Tap "Cancel Free Trial" or "Cancel Subscription". You may need to scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button. If there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription has already been cancelled.

NOTE: Once cancelled, you'll still have access to the Defeat Diabetes Program until your subscription period ends.​

How to cancel your subscription on your Mac

1. Open the App Store app.
2. Click your name. If you can't find your name, click Sign In.
3. Click Account Settings.
4. Scroll to Subscriptions, then click Manage (refer to the image below)
5. Next to the subscription, click Edit.
6. Click Cancel Subscription. If there's no Cancel or Cancel Subscription button, the subscription has already been cancelled.

NOTE: Once cancelled, you'll still have access to the Defeat Diabetes Program until your subscription period ends.

 

How to cancel your subscription on your Windows PC​

1. On your PC, open iTunes.
2. From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account, then choose View My Account.
3. Scroll to the Settings section. Next to Subscriptions, click Manage (refer to the image below).​
4. Find the subscription that you want to cancel, then click Edit.
5. Click Cancel Subscription. If there's no Cancel or Cancel Subscription button, the subscription has already been cancelled.

NOTE: Once cancelled, you'll still have access to the Defeat Diabetes Program until your subscription period ends.

Important: If you signed up to the Defeat Diabetes program after October 2022, your subscription is likely managed by Defeat Diabetes. If this applies to you, please follow these instructions to cancel via our website instead.

Important: Uninstalling the Defeat Diabetes app, does not automatically cancel your subscription. '

GOOGLE PLAY

Cancel a subscription on the Google Play app

1. On your Android device, go to your subscriptions in Google Play.
2. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
3. Tap Cancel subscription.
4. Follow the instructions.

Important: Uninstalling the Defeat Diabetes app, does not automatically cancel your subscription.

PAYPAL

To cancel, you’ll need to log in to your PayPal account, go to your pre-approved payments or subscriptions, and cancel the Defeat Diabetes subscription from there. Just keep in mind: PayPal will cancel your membership immediately — it won’t continue until the end of your trial or billing period like our system does.

If you’d prefer to keep access until your trial or current period ends, reach out to our customer service team to schedule a cancellation until your trial or billing period ends.
